Today we are going to continue our talk about the resorts, and today the topic is Deluxe Resorts on the Monorail or Monorail Resorts and what they offer. As we a recap from the post Complete Walt Disney World Resort List we will review the three resorts under the deluxe category that are on the monorail and all each one has to offer.
The Deluxe resorts are distinguished by having the most amenities, nicest views, best dining options, best transportation, largest rooms, best service, and of course highest prices.
DISNEY’S CONTEMPORARY RESORT
One of the first resorts on Disney Property, the contemporary has a very futuristic feel which is evident with the monorail running right through the middle.

The Sand Ba
Marina – Bay Lake can provide a playground for many other kinds of water activities. For a fee, guests may choose water sports, sailboats, pontoon boats, water-skiing, or parasailing through Sammy Duvall’s Watersport Center.
One of the first resorts on Disney Property, the Polynesian is undergoing a major renovation. A complete remodel of the lobby is underway, with the waterfall to be removed and all new decor to be added. Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto, a version of the popular interactive lounge at the Disneyland Hotel, will be added.
A new food and beverage location, Pineapple Lanai kiosk, will offer Dole Whips and will open in late 2014. The Nanea Volcano pool will be expanded to add a new aquatic playground with children’s slides, a hot tub and larger deck with additional seating. The Club Disney activity center will replace the Never Land Club and is the perfect place for little vacationers to have fun while their parents enjoy a night out. Kids age 3-12 can play dress-up, read stories and make crafts in the club, surrounded by decor inspired by Disney Little Golden Books like “Alice in Wonderland,” “Pinocchio,” and “Lady and The Tramp.”

The monorail resorts are considered a class of their own, with breathtaking views, convenient transpiration to Magic Kingdom and Epcot, amazing theming and world class food. These resorts are worth jumping on the monorail just to take a look around each of them, and while you are out don’t forget to stop by one of the amazing restaurants for a bite to eat.
