Benefits like MagicBands, Fastpass+, and the MyDisneyExperience app enable Walt Disney World to create an experience of ease and customization for guests. Now, the theme park seeks to give patrons one more opportunity for effortless touring with the introduction of Mobile Food and Beverage Ordering at select dining locations. Every one of us has, at one point, probably walked into Pinocchio Village Haus at noon on a Saturday and let out a big sigh upon seeing the line. I know I have. Be Our Guest revolutionized the lunch quick-service process when the restaurant introduced the ability to pre-order your food, even before entering the park!
With this new system, guests who have downloaded the MyDisneyExperience app can choose an option to ‘Order Food’ from the home menu under the ‘My Plans’ heading. For families that like to tour Walt Disney World ‘on the fly,’ this service will allow for choosing and ordering your food without physically being at the dining location. Just think, you could be standing in line for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and order your food at a quick-service location in Frontierland all from your mobile device! The app also lets patrons notify the location when they arrive, thereby telling them to get their order ready. Families would now be able to elect one person to go pick up their order while the others leisurely find a place to sit. For those indecisive mouseketeers, this system will force you to look at the menu and decide what to have prior to arriving at the food location.
The only form of payment currently accepted through the mobile ordering is credit card. Anyone with special dietary restrictions, or those who want to use discounts or redeem dining plan entitlements must place their order with a cashier.

Magic Kingdom – Columbia Harbour House (Liberty Spuare), Cosmis Ray’s Starlight Café (Tomorrowland), Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Café (Frontierland), Pinocchio Village Haus (Fantasyland), and Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant (Tomorrowland)
Epcot – Electric Umbrella (Future World), Liberty Inn (American Adventure) beginning August 7th
Disney’s Animal Kingdom – Flame Tree Barbecue (Discovery Island), Pizzafari (Discovery Island), Restaurantosaurus (DinoLand U.S.A.), and Satu’li Canteen (Pandora-The World of Avatar)
Hollywood Studios – ABC Commissary (Commissary Lane), Backlot Express (Echo Lake), PizzeRizzo (Muppet Courtyard)
Disney Springs – D-Luxe Burger (Town Center)

After clicking the ‘Review Order’ button, you can purchase using the credit card on file in your account! Now you can go about your day and let them know on the app when your family is at the dining location.
