Starting Summer of 2024, Disney Cruise Line will offer a new island destination on the Bahama island of Eleuthera. This new destination, Lighthouse Point, will provide a picturesque island paradise filled with vibrant colors and magical energy that only Disney can provide.
When guests arrive they will see the artistic infusion of the Bohemian architecture and color palette. What makes this island destination even more unique is the fact that it was created with a collaboration of local artists, whose work will also be featured in a culture and art pavilion for guests to become immersed in the local culture. As with all Disney destinations, there are available port adventures that will take guests beyond Lighthouse Point to explore even more of the Bahamas landscape and culture.
Lighthouse Point was also created with sustainably in mind. From solar energy to elevated walkways, this destination has taken great efforts to conserve natural settings and wildlife.
No matter your age or group’s interest, there is something for everyone at Lighthouse Point.
Families will enjoy the white sandy beaches on the east side of the island with easy access to dining, recreation, and other amenities. If families want a break from the beach, the kiddos can enjoy some time splashing and playing in the family water play area. Older children will enjoy slides, fountains and more; while the toddlers can splash safely in their own designated area. Families looking for more peaceful time together can rent their very own private premium family cabana along the southwestern shore. Young fans of Ariel, Flounder, and Sebastian will be sure to love the Little Mermaid themed kids club. Children ages 3-12 can enjoy their time under the supervision of highly trained Disney Cruise counselors.
Those who love a little friendly competition should be sure to check out the gaming pavilion, volleyball court, and gaga ball pit. If you are still seeking even more adventure at Lighthouse Point, there are hiking trails and even bike and watercraft rentals for more exploring.
North of the family area, the crystal blue water meets the white sand on the shores of an adult exclusive beach area. There adults will find specifically designated adult only dining for fabulous food and drinks and the option to reserve one of six private cabanas.
