Let’s start by telling you what activities at Aulani are included.
Aunty’s Beach House – An amazing interactive kids club designed for kids (keiki) ages 3 – 12. The amount of complementary activities that they do is amazing, and it is open form 8am – 9pm daily. Your travel agent can help you pre-register your children, and you are welcome to go check it out with your kids during open house hours (8:00am – 9:30am) daily.
Starlit Hui – Uncle hosts this celebration on the Halawai Lawn and leads guests on a journey into Hawaiian culture and traditions on select nights. You’ll watch the stories unfold through spirited song and dance. Your entire family (‘ohana) will not want to miss this Disney-exclusive entertainment experience, so be sure to check The Daily ‘Iwa for the weekly performance schedule or check with your travel agent, and for even more fun, arrive about 30 minutes prior to show time! There’s all sorts of pre-show fun and activities for everyone.
Pau Hana Room – For families and friends looking to connect through activities, board games, arts and crafts, books or movies, the Pau Hana Room is the place to be! Most of your favorite Disney classic films are available to rent here. Or, embark on the Menehune Adventure Trail, a high-tech scavenger hunt, from the Pau Hana Room! Some of the activities that take place in the Pau Hana Room can be quite popular, so be sure to check in early!
Pool Parties – Experience games, music, dancing, friends, and so much more during these high energy pool parties. These will go on during different times during your stay make sure you check your Daily ‘Iwa for the weekly schedule.
Pools – Well I guess you can’t have a pool party without a pool, and Aulani has quite a few to satisfy everyone. Waikolohe is Hawaiian for “mischievous water”—and with its whimsical features, Waikolohe Pool lives up to its name, you can even check out the volcano water slide here. If the water slide isn’t your thing, check out the lazy river. Wailana Pool is a serene sanctuary for Guests 18 and older. Enjoy breathtaking views in the infinity edge pool Ka Maka Grotto, with the whole family. If whirlpool spas are more your style there are 4 locations to choose from, one whirlpool spa near Waikolohe Pool, one near Waikolohe Stream, one whirlpool spa near Ka Maka Grotto, an infinity pool with sweeping ocean view and two whirlpool spas at ‘Alohi Point—a scenic oceanfront overlook exclusive to Guests ages 18 and older. For the youngest guests there is a splash zone.
Menehune Bridge – At 2,100 square feet, Menehune Bridge offers plenty of play space and magical features at every turn. Highlights include:
- 2 water slides
- Interactive water elements
- Spinning gourds
- A climbing play structure
Throughout this splash zone, kids also encounter the Menehune—the legendary “little people” responsible for mysterious happenings on the islands.
Aulani Beach – Between playing in the sand, relaxing in the sun, and all the games and activities offered this will for sure be a favorite hang out.
Disney Movie Nights – Enjoy games, trivia and family time before the movie under the stars begins.
Mo‘olelo Fire Pit Storytelling – Gather ’round the fire as Uncle shares Hawaiian legends. To enhance his stories, he’ll also use puppetry, music, props and magical effects.

KA WA‘A – A Lū‘au at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa – Make your way to the Hālāwai Lawn, where the festivities begin at 5:00 PM with seating and pre-show activities. Then get ready for a full evening of exhilarating song, dance and storytelling as you enjoy a lavish Hawaiian feast.
Beach Rentals – Make your beach day even more fun and relaxing with rental options like paddleboards, snorkel gear and private casabella loungers.
Rainbow Reef – Enjoy up-close encounters with tropical fish at Rainbow Reef, the only private snorkeling lagoon on O‘ahu.
Sailing and Canoe Experience – Discover the beauty of Hawai‘i as you explore the island of Oahu by sailing canoe, helmed by Hawaiian Ocean Adventures. Visit Makiki Joe’s for reservations. Children ages 3 and under are free.
