Walt Disney World Dessert Party
A Dessert Party may just be what you are looking for!
Have you ever wished you had a reserved seat or spot to stand to watch any of the amazing nighttime shows offered at Walt Disney World? Did you know that you can participate in a delicious treat-filled dessert party before the fireworks at the Magic Kingdom, or any of the other parks? Most recently, Disney added a “Rivers of Light” dessert party, which will debut this August on select nights. One hour before the show starts, guests can enjoy delicable desserts, snacks as well as alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. When the show is about to begin, guests will be seated in a VIP seating area to view Rivers of Light.
In addition to the Rivers of Light dessert party, guests can also enjoy similar dessert parties at the other parks. At Magic Kingdom, there are two dessert party options to choose from. Both include desserts and beverages. Depending on how you want to view the fireworks, you can select the party tickets for a reserved area to stand and watch the fireworks or if you prefer a seat you can purchase a slightly more expensive ticket for a seated viewing area at the Tomorrowland Terrace. Both are excellent ways to add a little extra magic to the end of a memorable day at the Magic Kingdom. I surprised my family with tickets to the dessert party at the Magic Kingdom on our wedding anniversary. It was definitely one of the highlights of all of our many visits to Disney. Seeing my children’s faces light up as Tinker Bell flew right over us and waved at us will be a memory that I will always cherish.
Are your children huge Frozen fans? Are you looking for a unique way to end your day at Epcot? Then the Frozen Ever After dessert party might be perfect for your family. Guests have a special reserved area to view Illuminations while also enjoying some Frozen inspired sweet treats and beverages. At the conclusion of Illuminations, guests will be escorted to Norway where they will experience the Frozen Ever After attraction. As with other dessert parties, this is held on select dates.
