Whenever I think of visiting Disney’s Beach Club Resort all I can think of is the famous dessert the Kitchen Sink that is served at Beaches and Cream.  If you don't happen to get over to Beaches and Cream or the thought of this gigantic treat is just to much you are now able to get a mini version in Magic Kingdom at Plaza Ice Cream Parlor and the Plaza Restaurant on Main Street, USA or in Disney California Adventure Park at Clarabella's Hand-Scooped Ice Cream.  As much

Are you planning a Disney trip? Do you want to stand out from the others?   Why don’t you make a Mickey head tie dye shirt! No matter if you are going to Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Aulani, setting sail on a Disney cruise, or taking an adventure with Adventures by Disney these would be good to wear and stand out.  My family went on a Disney Cruise where we wore these shirts.  We were all so excited to set sail on the Disney Fantasy and while we were preparing for

Disney Through a Child's Eyes Let me tell you all about Walt Disney World through a child's eyes.  I am 9 years old and went there in 2012 for our family vacation and I loved it.  I went on all sorts of rides; one of my favorite rides was Splash Mountain.  I loved the way you go through a little river with animals all around you and go down little water falls until at the end you go down one 50-foot drop.  It was awesome.  Another one of my favorite

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, a new family tradition When it comes to holidays everyone has their favorites, and Disney does them all. In fact holidays are usually peak times for Disney travel and for good reason. Walt Disney World seems to grab hold of the very essence of the Holiday and completely run with it. And Halloween is no different. Growing up in south Louisiana this was always one of my favorite holidays. Partly because fall meant cooler weather was on the way, but the rest I

Try it. Right now - I'll wait).   So, let me start out

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at The Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.  The Grand Floridian is an elegant and magical Disney resort.  It is located on Disney property on the Seven Seas Lagoon and is a monorail resort.  The first stop on the monorail is The Magic Kingdom! The Grand was inspired by Victorian-era beach resorts at the turn of the century.  As you step into the five story lobby you immediately see the elegance and sophistication that this resort is known for; from the

Did you know that Magic Kingdom has a barber shop? Who would have thought? It's called Harmony Barber Shop and you can find it upon entering Magic Kingdom. I took my 2 year old little girl, Abby Grace, to have her first haircut on our recent trip. We had an amazing experience. I was very nervous to see how she would act because she is a very hesitant child. She is very attached to certain people and does not care for strangers. Well turns out that she loved it.
